Band Notes - Week of Dec. 3rd to Dec. 9th

December 4th - Winter Band Concert

Our Winter Band Concert will take place on

Tuesday, December 4th at 7:30pm in the Olathe North Auditorium Come enjoy performances by: Jazz 1, Jazz 2, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble

A silent auction will take place before and during the concert! A few of the items up for grabs include: Older Olathe North Band Uniform Chiefs Tickets KU/KSU/Royals/Chiefs Memorabilia Olathe Band Instrument Gift Certificate Carpet Cleaning Package Assorted Gift Baskets, etc.

Bidding begins at 6:30pm and closes just before the Wind Ensemble performance begins. Winners will be announced following the concert!

"Pictures" opener flags will also be for sale for $25!

Students will also participate in an 'ugly holiday sweater' contest, so pick out your favorite ugly sweater!

Euphonium, Baritone, and Tuba Players: Tuba Christmas 2018 is Friday Dec. 7th

Students signed up for Tuba Christmas should notify their teachers of being absent on Friday. Please be sure to give your $10 to Mr. McCarty as soon as possible. Trombone Players: Trombone Christmas 2018 is Saturday Dec. 15th Trombone performers from across the region will convene for a rehearsal and concert full of holiday music. The performance takes place at 11am at Union Station. Students can pre-register through the Trombone Christmas website. Cost is $10. Transportation will be on your own.
