Jazz / Concert Placement Auditions

It's that time of year! At the end of October, students may audition for placement into one of our two jazz bands. All marching band members will also audition for placement into either Wind Ensemble or Symphonic Band.

Jazz Band Auditions will take place from October 30 - November 3. Auditions will be held during Eagle Halftime and after school by appointment. All band members are welcome to audition. Information and audition music can be found a this link: 2017-2018 Jazz Auditions.

Jazz Band rehearsals take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 7-7:50 AM beginning on Tuesday, November 7.

Wind Ensemble / Symphonic Band placement auditions will take place from October 30 - November 1. Auditions will be held beginning at 7 AM through 1st hour on those dates. Each section will have an assigned audition day. All marching band members will complete an audition. For the remainder of the Fall, Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band will rehearse during 1st hour. In January, Wind Ensemble students will switch to 2nd Hour; Percussion Ensemble students will switch to 4th hour; and Symphonic Band will remain in 1st Hour.
